Have you tried Once a Month Cooking? I have not done any large-scale cooking for the freezer. I generally just double up a meal every once in awhile and freeze the second one. After I have a week's worth of meals in the freezer, then I take a week off from cooking. It is so nice not to have to worry about what's for dinner. I have to admit though that after reading a bit about this method, I am tempted to give it a try on a larger scale. Once a month cooking is supposed to save a lot of money and time. I was completely amazed that the author was able to save $24,000 in 5 years by cooking for the freezer!
