Crayola Color Wonder Review and Giveaway

I recently had the opportunity to test out some of the great Color Wonder products from Crayola.   My 2 youngest girls were so excited when I opened the package.  You would have thought it was Christmas in our house!

I was almost as excited as the girls.  You see, my middle daughter loves to draw on anything and everything.  Beds, walls, books, you name it, Arianna has probably drawn on it.  Of course,  Sierra loves to imitate her older sister, so she has left her share of artwork around the house.  We recently had to repaint the girls' room due to all the "artwork".  To keep their newly redecorated room looking nice, I have confiscated crayons, markers, and pens.  They are only brought out when I can supervise.  So I am definitely excited about the Color Wonder products that will only color the special Color Wonder paper.

Sierra was most excited to try the finger paints and immediately set to work.  One of the great features with the finger paints is the built in finger-cleaning sponge.  This could easily be used on a long car trip with no worries about the mess since the paints can only be used on the special paper.

Anna grabbed the Under the Sea Story Stampers.  I was surprised to see that the stamps made such great impressions.  After Anna was done stamping, she used the Color Wonder markers to color in her creations.  After while, both girls decided to use the stampers and color together.  It was nice to see them playing so well together.

I also received the Color Wonder Stow and Go Studio as well as the Color Wonder Lap Desk.  These would be just perfect for keeping kids busy on vacation.  We aren't getting to take a vacation this year, however these Color Wonder kits will be coming along this fall when we go to our oldest daughter's marching band competitions each weekend.  While Anna and Sierra love to see their older sister perform, they quickly grow tired of watching all the other bands.  So the Lap Desk and Stow and Go Studio will be perfect for keeping them occupied.  Plus, unlike traditional art supplies, you don't have to worry about the mess!  I love that!

I have to say  I was very impressed with the Color Wonder products.  These are a great alternative to traditional art supplies when you have a child that loves to color on everything.  With no risk of a mess, these are great products for kids to use nearly everywhere!  I especially think these would make a great product to use when traveling.  I always put together a box of things to keep the kids busy when we take a long road trip. The next time we take one, I will be sure to put some Color Wonder products in the box.

You can connect with Crayola to learn more about their products on the Crayola website, or by visiting Crayola on Facebook, or Crayola on Twitter.

on out last trip we got daughter a lap desk for the carseat, a chalkboard, coloring books, puzzles, puzzle books and new books all in a new backpack that she was only allowed to use in the car when we started our trip- made it special and made her want to use it/keep her occupied!

When everything else has been exhausted, a small DVD player and a new movie equals sanity on a long car ride!

To keep the kids occupied on long trips I usually buy travel version games (Guess who etc) and that usually keeps them busy for a little while

I keep my son occupied on long trips by making sure I take his favorite DVD's and his DVD player and a collection of his favorite toys and books with us.
